A dynamic community arts’ space is forming in Putney.
The vision of a community arts’ studio in Southern Vermont is something I’ve dreamed about since moving here- as I’m sure many of us have.
Fiona Morehouse is such an amazing teacher and artist and the space she is building is like stepping outside your crazy, chaotic life and taking a deep breath of fresh, creative air…My oldest daughter has been lucky enough to be a part of the nature-arts program she already offers to area homeschoolers and it is truly the highlight of her week.
The studio upgrades this Kickstarter campaign will fund will make Alchemy’s space usable year round and will allow Fiona to begin expanding her class offerings to the greater community. Furthermore, her ceramic work is unique and beautiful- I reach for her cups first on a daily basis because they feel so good in my hands and are gorgeous to look at- the generous gifts she is offering at each funding level of the campaign would allow backers to own some of her amazing clay work too!
