PRESS RELEASE INFORMATION
On Saturday, February 10, 2007, the new and high-energy contra dance series continues at the Chesterfield Town Hall in Chesterfield, New Hampshire. The new contra dance series will be from 8:00pm-11:00pm with a beginner's workshop from 7:30pm-8:00pm. Music will be provided by Roger Treat on fiddle and Lloyd Carr on piano. This New England based musical duo specializes in the pulsing melodies and rhythms of Cape Breton. Calling will be provided by Jeff Petrovitch, a new contra dance caller with a modern style and rhythmic technique bridging the gap from the traditional to the rock and roll/hip hop modern.
Mark you calendar! The new contra dance series continues on second Saturdays: Saturday, March 10, 2007; Saturday, April 14, 2007; Saturday, May 12, 2007; Saturday, June 9, 2007. Everyone is welcome!
