Responsible House Sitters Available During the Month of January

Hello, my husband and I and our one-year old daughter are hoping to spend some time in the Putney/ West-West area this winter and are looking for a house-sitting situation, ideally for the last two weeks of January.

We have family and other local ties here and have spent the last three winters house-sitting in Putney. We're now officially hooked on our winter escape from NY and are hoping we might find someone who is looking for a caretaker next month. We are tidy, handy, creative, energy-conscious, responsible folks in our late 30's, adept at manning wood stoves and enthusiastic about caring for house pets, chickens and plants.

We're ideally looking for something in the country but will consider whatever might come our way, and are fine with simple, rustic accommodations.
