On Wednesday, June 6 at 7PM at the Putney fire station, local birder, photographer and writer Chris Petrak will offer a presentation titled "Birds of the Wilson Wetland." This presentation celebrates the town's recent acquisition of 26 acres of wetland off Sand Hill Road. Chris's presentation will focus on some of the more interesting bird species inhabiting the wetland and will draw from the astonishing list of 106 bird species sighted in the wetland by Grafton birder Don Clark.
This event is organized by the Putney Conservation Commission. For more information, call Meghan Houlihan at 387-5706.
