Katie Bachler, Putney's 2011 Artist in Residence, Blogs from Joshua Tree

Katie has taken up residency in Joshua Tree, California, where she is Scout at Andrea Zittel's High Desert Test Sites (a multifaceted, creative, ongoing lifestyle and venue). She is continuing much of what she did with Frannie Garretson last summer as part of Putney's first artists' residency--which included activities with the Putney Paper Mill, pinata making, beets, and a dance in Putney's center.
