The Putney School Summer Programs Adult Studio Arts and Writing Week, August 5-11.*Reduced registration fees for Putney town residents based on availability*
The Putney School Summer Programs offers week-long workshops for adults in Painting, Jewelry, Photography, Fiber Arts, Creative Writing and Blacksmithing. Workshop leaders include noted artists and educators from Southern Vermont and beyond.
Participants come with diverse experience and set their own pace with 24 hour access to studios. Faculty is dedicated to guiding each participant in his or her own pursuits. Certificate of completion for educator contact hours available. Workshops are limited to six to eight participants.
Last summer, one participant remarked: "I have a Masters in Fine Arts but [my teacher at Putney is] the best teacher I’ve ever had.” while another said “It would take me a year to get this far if I were doing this at home alone.” Boarding and Day options available.
