Food Distribution at Putney Meadows

Thursday, July 23rd: Last Thursday of each month between 9 and 10am — All are welcome, no questions asked.

The Putney Foodshelf in conjunction with the Vermont Foodbank is exploring offering healthy produce and non-perishable food to locations in the community where individuals that would benefit from assistance live or frequent.

Food distributions at Putney Meadows are once a month on the last Thursday of the month from 9 to 10am. Everyone is welcome to come to select produce and non-perishable items for their use.

The Vermont Foodbank brings a truck filled with boxes of produce and other non-perishable items. Boxes are unloaded into the Putney Meadows common room for folks to select the items and quantity that they can use.

Please share this information with anyone you think would benefit from this opportunity. The food distributions are open to anyone in the community.
The Foodshelf remains strong in its mission to provide supplemental healthy food for area people in need. In addition to the food drop, if you know of anyone struggling, send them our way: Tuesdays 6–7pm and Saturdays 9–10am at the Community Center on Christian Square in Putney.
