On Thursday Sept 4th from 4:30-5:30 pm Melissa Post will offer a free introductory workshop at the Putney Cares Activity Barn at 54 Kimball Hill Rd in Putney for those who would like to give folk dancing a try. She will teach simple dances which feature some of the most common steps. Dancers of all abilities are welcome; no partner is necessary. Please wear comfortable shoes which slide easily on a wooden floor.
The Gentle International Folk series will begin subsequently on Thursday Sept 11th and run on Thursdays from 4:00-5:30pm until June. Cost is $8 per class.
