Herbal Tincture Workshop in Putney

Learn how to make herbal tinctures using the percolation method. Percolation is a fast way to make high quality tinctures out of dried herbs. This process is more technical than maceration but well worth the effort. The class will include a complete demonstration of the process with hands on opportunities and you will leave with detailed instructions for repeating this process at home with all of your favorite herbs. Participants will also take home a tincture.

Saturday September 21st, 2-4pm at Medicine for the People (125 Main St, Putney)

Participants will have the opportunity to make their own 'perc cone' at the end of the class. Simply bring an empty, large glass Pellegrino water bottle (or one of similar shape, it can be any color glass), with the label removed and save the top.

Led by herbalist and clinical nutritionist, Emily Samet. Email info@medicineforthepeople.org or call 802-387-3028 to schedule.
