 Sunday, August 29, 2010, 12 noon - 2 pm, Putney Tavern, 2nd Floor.
There was so much response for this class that it is being offered a second time this summer!
This class introduces the art of muscle testing as a means of communicating with the body, and increases your comfort level with it. We witness how it is done on others, and learn how to talk with our own bodies using three different methods.

The Putney Community Center Aug. 7th teen dance is cancelled. Apologies to the teens, but we need more chaperones to volunteer and we need to have phone confirmation of their availability the Monday of the week of a dance. We continue monthly dances starting in September (dates to be determined), so if any adults can spare 3.5 hours to chaperone they should call (802)387-8551 to volunteer.
Thanks for the support!

The Community Bookstore group met on July 22, led by Mike Mrowicki. The first question was whether or not a bookstore was a viable project. With volunteer help and start-up funding, the answer was, Yes! Several persons with successful small business experience added to the lively discussion that followed
Considering the many necessary decisions and tasks to be taken care of, we are now working toward opening before summer, 2011.
The next meeting and update is planned for September 23. All are welcome.

I'm looking for a room in a house share situation in the Brattleboro, Putney, Dummerston or Westminster area. I'm a SIT grad student (I completed my campus period and now I'm working on writing my thesis) and working in Putney. I am very reliable and have references from the area. I'm hoping to find something to move into at the end of August or early September. Hope to hear from someone soon about a room. martha.rath@mail.sit.edu
