Project Feed the Thousands kicks off Friday, November 13th

Project Feed the Thousands will kick off its 21st annual food drive at Price Chopper on Canal Street in Brattleboro this Friday.

The community goal this year is to raise $100,000 in cash and to collect enough provisions for 200,000 meals. The Project Feed the Thousands Team will collect non-perishable food, personal care items and cash donations on behalf of the thousands of people who face hunger each and every day throughout southeastern Vermont and southwestern New Hampshire.

You can support your local food shelf by donating through the Project Feed website: http://www.feedthethousands.org (click Putney Foodshelf) or donating non perishables to a local Putney donation box (River Valley Credit Union, Putney Co-op or at the Foodshelf on Christian Square). The area food shelves only get food donated in their town through Project Feed the Thousands.
