Come celebrate the fifteen years Stephen Coronella has served the Putney Public Library and the community as Library Director. The Library Board of Trustees and staff are holding an open house at the Library on Friday, December 19th from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. in honor of Stephen who will be retiring at the end of this month.
During his tenure, Stephen moved the Library forward in so many ways. Most notably, he worked with the Board to realize the dream of a beautiful new library just down the road from the old one. He computerized the collection and introduced new services like eBooks to library patrons. Through it all, he made the Library a welcoming place offering a wide variety of vibrant and engaging programs for both children and adults.
