Putney, VT – A Regional Concerns Meeting for the project listed below will be held on Wednesday, February 24th, 2016 beginning at 5:30 PM at the Putney Fire Station, located at 21 Carl Snyder Drive. The meeting will be held by the Vermont Agency of Transportation (VTrans) and Town of Putney.
Deck replacement project:
• Putney STP DECK(38) – U.S. Route 5, Bridge #15 over Sacketts Brook
The preferred alternative includes a deck replacement with traffic maintained on an offsite detour during a 10 day short term road closure.
The intent of the meeting is to provide an overview of this bridge replacement project to Town Officials, local residents and businesses, emergency services and other interested parties. There will be a review of the existing site conditions, proposed work, detour, and overall schedule followed by a question and answer period. Representatives from both VTrans and the Town of Putney will be available at the meeting to address public concerns about the projects.
