Did you know that the Transcendental Meditation® program is a science-based technique that has been shown to improve attention, focus, behavior, organizational skills, and academic performance? It is a thoroughly researched meditation technique with over 350 peer-reviewed research studies including 30 million dollars of NIH research funds.
The presentation explains how TM produces “Relaxed-Alertness” in the mind-body conducive for optimal learning. There is good evidence that in several hundred studies on Transcendental Meditation® that it can overall improve the pre-frontal cortex “executive functions” to carry out purposeful behavior.
This talk, by Certified TM Instructors, Jack and Karen Sugden, will explore the research for reducing stress and stress-related disorders including ADHD, improving brain functioning and learning ability for students.
