On Saturday, February 4th at 1:00 p.m., BEEC Naturalist and Master Tracker Patti Smith will lead a walk teaching the identification of tracks of wildlife in our area. Come find out how the wild inhabitants in the Roger Parrott Conservation Site* are spending the winter. Snow reveals the presence and activities of wildlife that remain elusive much of the year. We are hoping to find tracks of fisher, coyote, mink, foxes, and perhaps a bobcat.
The walk is sponsored by the Putney Conservation Commission.
*To get to the site go one mile north of Putney Town Center on Route 5, turn left onto Bare Hill Road, and go to the end of the road and park.
