A HUGE thank you to our Putney Postal Carriers and YOU for donating to the May 11th annual Stamp Out Hunger drive. We collected 1,746.1 pounds of quality food for our local Putney Foodshelf.
This is more than 3 times what was collected last year! The Putney Foodshelf is open twice a week and hands out more than 500 lb an Open Hour. Plus we now run a food shelf at Putney Central School which takes considerable volunteer time and resources (but worth every second to keep our children from being hungry!)
