Ability Arts classes begin at River Gallery School of Art on September 16, from 1-3pm. The classes are held in the Main Street Studio (MSS) at River Gallery School and are designed for people/artists with developmental disabilities, but are also open to people interested in a variety of art mediums explored at a slower pace within a nurturing environment.
Going on its 9th year, Ability Arts explores a variety of mediums- from collage to bookmaking to weaving, and more! All students have class and individual instruction and are supported by teachers and mentors. The instructor is fluent in ASL.
