Back-to-School Healthy Snack & School Supplies Drive

August 8–13: Seven area food shelves are running a healthy snack and supplies drive to support our struggling familes as they get ready to send their kids back to school the end of August.

Please donate to the Putney Foodshelf: tuna fish, crackers, raisins, apple sauce, snack pudding or fruit cups PLUS back-to-school supplies: No. 2 pencils, pens, markers, crayons, colored pencils, folders, paper (lined, construction, and plain) and composition notebooks. Did you know many teachers buy these additonal supplies out of pocket? This will support them and the children they teach.

Drop off donated food and school supplies at the Putney Foodshelf: Plastic donation box at the Putney Community Center, 10 Christian Square [side ramp entrance]. For more information: 802-387-8551, putneyfoodshelf@gmail.com

We will have volunteers checking daily so that items are not left outside for long. If you would like acknowledgement of your donation, include a note with your name and address. Thanks!

If you struggle to make ends meet and are in need of food: we are open Tuesdays 6–7pm and Saturdays 9–10am at the Community Center on Christian Square.
