Friends and Neighbors,
I am running for the open seat on the Putney Selectboard. I’m a semi-retired attorney, and have lived here on West Hill Road since 2015. I have practiced for the past 44 years in New York City, specializing in administrative law and commercial litigation.
In Putney, I have served on the board of trustees of Yellow Barn; in Windham County, I am currently on the Groundworks Collaborative board. My wife Ann Macdonald has also been active in the life of the community, as a director of both the Brattleboro Museum and Latchis Arts.
My interest in being a Selectboard member is spurred by the opportunity to contribute sound judgment to the governance of our Town. I well recognize that Putney voters wish to express their views openly and forthrightly. Be assured that I will give a full hearing to matters you bring to your board.
