Dancers young and old are invited to enjoy the fine music and warm community atmosphere of the East Putney Community Contra Dance at Pierce’s Hall on Saturday, July 26th. No experience or partner is necessary. All dances will be taught.
Delia Clark will be back calling for us again, with music by the talented and exuberant band Old Sam Peabody, from the greater Woodstock area. Delia will teach a beginners’ session from 7:30 to 8:00, followed by dancing until about 10:30.
To reach Pierce’s Hall from Putney Village, go north on Rt. 5 for two miles. At the bottom of a long hill, turn right onto East Putney Falls Road. Go 1/2 mile, and the drive to the hall will be on your left, just after passing the sign for Pierce Road. The suggested donation is $7. For details call 802-387-5357.
