Got chickens? Have any extra eggs? The Putney Foodshelf’s source of eggs is drying up as the chickens lay fewer eggs. We thought we’d check in with our generous community and see if anyone has extra eggs they’d like to donate. We’ll buy whatever additional eggs we need to ensure our recipients get at least a half dozen eggs per Foodshelf visit.
Eggs can always be dropped 30 minutes prior to opening the Foodshelf (Tuesday drop off at 5:30pm or Saturdays at 8:30am) But, it would be easier to know before open hours so we can coordinate buying the remainder needed.
