badweatherfriend & friends CD release party
Thanks to generous support from many of you, we are nearing the end of a two-year process of recording, arranging, mixing, and mastering a full-length album, mostly on our own as we were teaching ourselves how to do it. Our Scorpio drive and focus, Capricorn perfectionism and commitment, and Cancer feeeeeeliiiiiiiingsssssss have given life to this new creation, born under Taurus's love, beauty, and sensuous joy (obligatory zodiac shout-out). We will be joined on stage by members of our musical family, those with whom we have played in basements, record stores, art galleries, beer gardens, more basements, and even this very church. Special guests (additional details TBA): Faye Patrick Kennedy of the Good Death Reverence Ride Adrienne Cooper Smith, folk/punk banjo and accordion from Burlington Jed Blume of Deep Seize Willie Gussin of Snow Pot and History Teaches If Not I Than Who Then Theater presents: "a response to the seen & unseen, the challenge & possibility, of radical growth. A performance piece using movement, puppets, and sound for exploring connections & all existence." Doors open at 7:30, show starts at 8. Sliding scale admission $5-10, no one turned away if you can't pay. Accessibility: There are stairs to get in the front door. Two wheelchair-accessible, gender-inclusive bathrooms. We will strive for lighting with no strobing, flashing, or flickering. Let us know what else you need.
