Ben Mackin + short sets at Stage 33 Live
On Thursday, May 16, it's the the "Third Thursdays @ 33" series finale with Ben Mackin from Bennington as the featured performer. Like an unusually high percentage of the regional musicians that have played Stage 33 Live, he works with kids in music and theater — in addition to recording studio gigs, teaching guitar, and running shows in his community. Suggested $5 donation at the door. Shorts at 6:00, Ben at 7:00. At this writing, there are still three 10-minute short slots available for original songs, short readings of original writing, or other original performances or presentations. RSVP to stage33@stage33live.com for a slot. Stage 33 Live is a volunteer-run nonprofit that hosts listening events in an old factory building at 33 Bridge Street in Bellows Falls, Vermont. Seating is limited to 40. The performances are recorded and filmed for radio, TV, and the internet. 33 Bridge Street is an accessible space. Stage 33 Live isn't a bar, club, restaurant, theater, or state-of-the-art facility... just good folks doing a fine thing. Stage 33 Live allows only original material.
