You don't need to know a thing about clay to enjoy a Clay Play evening at Wheelhouse Clay Center in downtown Brattleboro! All it takes is some curiosity and a little intrigue. Come with your date, with adventurous friends and family, or treat yourself... for three hours of guided fun with clay on third Fridays. On May 17, make a fully functional clock from slabbed stoneware clay. Teacher Teta Hilsdon will provide all you need and guide you in your choice of three decorative techniques. You'll finish the clock during the evening, come back and pick it up at June's Gallery Walk two weeks later. Your clock will be glazed, fired and installed with a battery-powered mechanism.
