Food & Shelter
Wild Goose Players & Next Stage Arts present: "Hansel & Gretel" meets "Waiting for Godot" in this darkly moving fairy tale about love. A cabin in the snowy woods with more secrets than a Chinese Puzzlebox… A newly married couple with secrets of their own…she is pregnant with someone else’s baby. He might have killed the cabin’s prior owner… And though the cabin provides the newlyweds with food and shelter, it seems that someone, or something, is determined to never let them leave. "Food & Shelter" is an original play by award winning New Hampshire playwright and former NHPR radio reporter Sean Hurley. With intricate set design and direction by artist David Stern and music by composer Greg Wilder, Food & Shelter is a ghost story for those who sometimes wonder if they themselves might be the ghosts. Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays at 7:30pm, 1/21-1/30/2022 Proof of vaccination or negative COVID test within 48 hours required for entry to indoor shows. Masks required while inside the venue. This performance is made possible in part by the generous sponsorship of Oak Meadow.
