April 4 Revision: Opening the Door: Stephen King says that you should shut yourself off in a room and write your first draft for yourself, but with the second draft, you must open the door and consider your reader. We will discuss and practice ways to revise your fiction or nonfiction so that it entertains and inspires your readers. We will discuss factors such as pacing, reminders, transitions, and consistency. We will then practice applying these skills.
This is the last of four free workshops on reading and writing.
