Joyeux Noël: A French Christmas
Friends of Music at Guilford presents its 46th annual Christmas at Christ Church program, featuring the Guilford Chamber Singers performing Poulenc's Christmas Motets and traditional French carols, with instrumental interludes by a few Guilford Chamber Players. Don McLean offers a dramatic reading of "Alone," a new winter story by Guilford author Mimi Morton, and everyone sings a few carols before heading into the winter night as the church bell rings. Door donations are shared with the Christ Church Guilford Society, a volunteer group that maintains this historic site, now used only for special events. For information, call 802-254-3600, email office@fomag.org, or visit www.fomag.org.
