New Tai Chi Beginners' Class
Wolfe Lowenthal is widely acknowledged to be one of the foremost teachers of “Cheng style” Tai chi chuan. A student since 1967 and assistant to the legendary Cheng Man-ching, he is the author of three classic works on Taichi practice and philosophy, There Are No Secrets and Gateway to the Miraculous from NorthAtlantic Books, and Like A Long River from Long River Tai Chi Press. The course begins on April 3rd, and will meet on Mondays from 7-8pm at 118 Elliot Street in Brattleboro. The beginners' course lasts for a year and will be taught by Patrick Cavanaugh, Wolfe's assistant and a senior instructor at Long River Tai Chi Circle. After a student finishes the beginners' course, there are a number of advanced classes available with Wolfe and senior instructors. Registration will remain open through April 24th.
