Opening Reception for Newfane Art Show
“Art Among Friends” presents a selection of watercolor and oil paintings at the Crowell Gallery through the month of June. This year’s show includes more than 40 pieces, ranging from abstract to intensely realistic. Among these are Lynn Zimmerman’s Spring Swans, selected for the juried Spring Show of the Vermont Watercolor Society; Louise Zak’s series Surprising Brattleboro, in which world landmarks make cameo appearances in Brattleboro; Laurie Klenkel’s electric Dancing Pears; Connie Evans’ complex Mindscapes I and II; Kathy Greve’s atmospheric Slow Season; and Alice Freeman’s vibrant Sushi Special.
The show runs from June 4 through June 29.
