The Vermont Workers’ Center will host a Pizza & Stories event on May 12 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. in the Community Room of the Rockingham Free Public Library, 65 Westminster St., Bellows Falls (handicap accessible). Join us for pizza, salads, and conversation about our experiences with the healthcare system and the impact of current policy proposals on our lives. Discussion topics: - Transportation to local healthcare providers - Medicaid updates: What is being discussed in Washington and how that can impact individuals and communities, including local health centers and hospitals - How we can advocate for our right to healthcare If you have transportation needs or can offer transportation to medical appointments, please join us.  Questions or more info: windham@workerscenter.org or call (802) 257-4436.
