The Cultural Link Between Judaism and China
This Talk by Tiberiu Weisz will show two of the world’s oldest surviving cultures in a new light, not as fossils, but rather as two vibrant cultures tied by invisible bonds that have allowed them to flourish until today. Weisz is an independent scholar of Chinese language and culture who has pursued his interest in Classical Chinese and comparative cultural studies of Judaism and China for 40 years. Weisz is fluent in Chinese and Hebrew and has college teaching experience in both Hebrew History and Chinese Religion, providing him with a unique approach to his subject There will be refreshments and conversation from 7:00 pm, and the talk will begin at 7:30.
