The Brattleboro VFW Post #1034 located at 40 Black Mountain Road will be hosting their annual family outing Sunday, July 28th. A $20 ticket will enter you for a chance to win money. The meal will be 1/2 BBQ chicken, baked potato, corn on the cob, and a roll. The $20 cost will also cover entry to the dance featuring the Playin’ Possum Band.
For $10, you get a meal and entry to the dance. A $7 charge will be offered for those wanting to enter the dance only. Burgers and hot dogs will also be for sale.
There will also be a corn hole tournament this year. $20 per team to play, but you must also pay the minimum $7 door charge, or you may purchase the meal & dance ticket for $10, or meal, dance and raffle ticket for $20.
Doors open at 11 am, food is served from 1-3 pm, and the band is from 1-5 pm. There will also be basket raffles hosted by the Auxiliary.
You do not have to be a member to attend this event. The public is welcome.
