Everyone Eats is a wonderful program helping area restaurants and feeding our community. How can Putney folks participate? Here’s how:
1. NEW INFORMATION!!! Putney Mutual Aid and the Putney Foodshelf will be distributing meals in Putney for curbside pickup on Monday evening. Pick up at the Putney Community Center from 5-6. First come, first served. No need for advance reservations. (Be sure to drive up in your car and wait for instructions. We will bring the food to you.)
2. You can journey into Brattleboro (Mon-Thurs, 4-6) to pick up a meal. The program runs through August and they are planning to extend it through December. (more info on their website: https://www.brattleboro.com/everyoneeats/ )
3. Putney Mutual Aid volunteers can deliver a meal to you on Monday evenings — email PutneyVTMutualAid@gmail.com to make arrangements
Just a reminder… this program is meant to be an economic stimulus as well as an innovative way to address food security. Please feel free to participate and grab a meal! It helps our local restaurants and gives us all delicious food.
