Foodshelf thanks Putney!

It is amazing to live in a community that shows so much care for its neighbors! The Putney Foodshelf thanks the Putney Craft Tour for partnering with us during their recent November Craft Tour. Each studio donated proceeds from a beautiful piece of art sold during the Craft Tour to the Foodshelf.

And, Jim Heal with the Putney General Store and Pharmacy just put on Breakfast with Santa benefiting the Foodshelf, along with Basketville, the Gleanery, Green Mountain Orchards, Martin Collins, Melissa and Doug, Mocha Joe’s Coffee, Next Stage, Pierce Brother’s Coffee, Putney Co-op, Thomas Dairy, and of course Santa (Scott Henry)! We thank the sponsors and everyone who came to support us during both these events. The combined donations from these events will go a long way towards helping us serve our hungry neighbors.

The Foodshelf remains strong in its mission to provide supplemental healthy food for area people in need. If you know of anyone struggling, send them our way: Tuesdays 6–7pm and Saturdays 9–10am at the Community Center on Christian Square in Putney.
