General Election Update: The Secretary of State’s office mailed absentee ballots to every active Putney voter on September 29, 2020. If you have not received a ballot, please contact the Putney Town Clerk. (802) 387-5862 ext. 10 or 13 or clerk@putneyvt.org.
You may return your ballot by mail, in the secure lock box at Town Hall, 127 Main Street, Putney, VT or bring to the Fire Station, 21 Carl Snyder Dr., Putney, VT between 10:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. on Election Day, November 3, 2020.
A few reminders to make sure your vote counts:
1. Track your ballot using your My Voter Page, https://mvp.vermont.gov. On your My Voter Page, you can see the date the ballot was mailed, and, more importantly, when it was received by the clerk. If something isn’t right, contact the clerk.
2. Make sure you follow the instructions. You MUST place your voted ballot in the Certificate Envelope and fill-out the certification. Place the Certificate Envelope in the Return Envelope. If you choose to place in the mail, please note that postage is paid.
If you have any questions or have problems logging into your My Voter Page, or have any questions, please contact the Putney Town Clerk (802) 387-5862 ext. 13 or clerk@putneyvt.org
