Green Up Day is this Saturday, May 6th. A town truck will be parked in the usual spot between the Town Office building and Our Lady of Mercy from Saturday morning through Sunday, meaning that anyone unable to work on Saturday can do it on Sunday. Bags and twist-ties will be available. Places especially in need of attention this year are the area behind and around the recycling roll-offs and also the right side banking on the Bellows Falls Road near J.D. McCliments. Anyone finding needles or anything else they judge as potentially hazardous should not touch the material. Instead, tell me where it is I'll notify the town office. Also, it's tick season, so please dress accordingly and check yourself periodically. Thank you all in advance for helping to keep Putney clean.
