HALLOWEEN AND COVID-19
The Putney Selectboard discourages door to door trick or treating and recommends the following alternative to keep everyone safe.
Putney drive-thru trick or treating at the Putney Central School from 3-5 pm
Other ways to maintain safety for all:
• Remain 6 feet apart from non-family members.
• Wear a face covering/mask.
• Keep your group small and consider staying away from crowded spaces and large parties.
• Get creative when giving out candy no hand to hand contact. Leave bagged treats outside your door.
• Avoid bowls where many hands have been.
• Bring hand sanitizer and use frequently.
• Find alternatives to door to door- such as family activities or small group activities with close family and friends.
• Visit healthvermont.gov or the CDC for more guidance.
