Artists Reception, Watercolor Discoveries
Join the 26 artists participating in a group show, Watercolor Discoveries, for conversation and refreshments this Saturday, June 7, from 1 to 3 pm, at the Crowell Gallery in Newfane. These 28 women artists, who have studied with Lynn Zimmerman in her online classes, will share a variety of paintings in watercolor. Most of the artists are local, although a few live elsewhere in the U.S. Each artist will share a discovery made while exploring this challenging and rewarding medium.
Many of the original pieces will be for sale. An array of prints and cards will also be available for purchase at the reception or on request.
The Crowell Gallery is located in the Moore Free Library, 23 West St., Newfane. Hours are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday 1 to 5 p.m., Thursday 1 to 6 p.m., and Saturday 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The show will run from through Saturday, June 28.
