Greetings Friends and Neighbors,
On Sunday, February 15th, at the Putney Cares’ Activity Barn, 54 Kimball Hill Rd., I will be hosting a karaoke party from noon to 3 pm. This will be the debut event of my Karaoke Empowerment Therapy project, which began four months ago with a successful crowd funding campaign. Thanks to all who contributed!
This event has the potential to be a jammin’ good time! I certainly am pouring my heart, fine hosting skills, and dorky dancer energy into it. White bean soup, rice, cake, gluten free brownies, tea, coffee, bubbles, wigs, hats, dark glasses, and feather boas will be available. There will be no pressure to perform. This scene is all about having fun honoring our unique expressions and sharing in the nurturance and freedom of this.
Please come, if you can and would like. Though, if you can’t make it, I have a second date lined up for March 1st, at Harvest Moon, in Saxton’s River, same time, similar scene!
All ages are welcome to this by donation happening. Please, pass along this invitation to any closet singers and rocks stars you may know, or simply, to anyone looking to enjoy comradery and play.
