Assemblage artist Kathy Kemp presents Held in Relation, a solo exhibition at Crowell Gallery at Moore Free Library in Newfane, October 3–31, with an artist reception Saturday, October 17, from 1–3 p.m.
Kemp creates contemporary assemblages from salvaged wood, metal, architectural fragments and other timeworn materials. Her non-representational compositions explore balance, tension and transformation, bringing disparate objects into new relationships while retaining the marks of their previous lives.
