Live Stand-Up Comedy!

Next Stage Arts and the Vermont Comedy All Stars present a night of live stand-up comedy! Featured performers will include several contest-winning and touring comedians most often seen in the Burlington area.

Tracy Dolan has been featured in Boston’s Women in Comedy Festival and the New York’s She Devil Comedy Festival. She has performed regularly at the Vermont Comedy Club since its opening and has opened for national acts including Gary Gulman, Hari Kondbolu, and SNL alums Tim Meadows and Jim Bruer.

Marlon “Big Fish” Fisher has been doing stand-up since his days serving in Afghanistan 10 years ago, where he started doing it to boost the morale of his fellow soldiers. Marlon has been a Moth Story Slam Host, was a Seven Daysie finalist for best stand-up comic in 2015, and a finalist in the Vermont’s Funniest Comedian Contest from 2015–2017.

Jared Hall is a two-time finalist in Vermont’s Funniest Comedian competition, and has hosted at the Comedy Club for the likes of Michael Ian Black, Jen Kirkman, and Todd Barry. He currently hosts two comedy shows in Burlington: The FREE STUFF Giveaway, and Weird and Niche.

Gwen Lockwood has performed all over New York City, including at the Gotham and Stand Up, and was featured at the Big Bear Comedy Festival in California. She was once voted the 3rd Funniest Person in Brooklyn.

Paul Manza (aka Beardo, aka Grumplestiltskin) is a recovering yoga teacher and wannabe farmer who claims to simultaneously be from both Brooklyn and upstate New York. He has appeared in two indy films, and is rumored to be raising two gorgeous babies in a last ditch effort to alleviate what seemed to be a debilitating case of narcissism.

Marisa Imon is an aspiring hermit who emerges from her cave in the woods of Vermont to share comedic stories and songs about light-hearted topics including mental illness, death and the meaning of life. When she’s not on stage making comedy, she’s
making music, meditations and other musings to share with the community.

Gordon Clark (Host) is a stand up comedy producer and host. Gordon founded the non-profit Vermont Comedy All Stars to provide live online comedy during the pandemic, and has since gone on to produce and host the monthly Second Wednesday Comedy Jam Live! at the legendary Nectar’s nightclub, in Burlington, Vermont.

Proof of vaccination or negative COVID test within 48 hours required for entry to indoor shows. Masks required while inside the venue.

This performance is made possible in part by the generous sponsorship of Oak Meadow, KOOL FM, and The Peak.
