The 2026 Legislature has adjourned and State Sen. Nader Hashim and Rep. Mike Mrowicki will offer a look back and a look ahead at a Public Forum for Constituents at the Putney Public Library on Monday June 22 at 6:30pm.
Equal Rights, Banning Paraquat, Protecting Voters and the upcoming elections standing up to ICE as well as protecting Vermonters from online predators were right alongside Education Governance and Funding Reform as issues addressed by the 2026 Legislature.
With Affordability topping Vermonters concerns as the current Presidents folly of policies causes prices to continue to rise, the Legislature took steps to try and mitigate costs in education, health care and housing.
They will also provide and update on new security measures at the Statehouse as threats to legislators here and across the country continue to rise.
