The Foot Clinic is back at Putney Community Cares! Starting in May, these clinics will be held on the 1st Tuesday of every month from 12pm-3pm. Pre-registration is required — and participants are expected to be fully vaccinated.
The Foot Clinic is geared toward care for diabetic feet, but for those with issues beyond the scope of this Clinic (such as ingrown toe nails, infections, foot ulcers, etc.), the R.N. can provide a free assessment and refer you to a podiatrist for care. Margaret Heale, R.N. of Heale Wound Care will be providing care for the Foot Clinic.
Each Foot Care Session consists of:
–A knee to toe assessments of skin, circulation, and feet
–5-7 minute foot soak
–Toenails trimmed and filed smooth and calluses reduced
–Teaching appropriate foot care techniques to meet your individual needs
–Lotion knees to toes
Please bring your own towel, lotion & a wash cloth. Cost is $27 by cash or check, payable to Margaret Heale.
