Brain Science of the Early Years at Putney Library
Join child development specialist Jessica Barquist from Lets Grow Kids on Thursday, October 5th at 6pm to learn about practical applications of early childhood brain science.
This is an interactive training focused on the latest research in early childhood brain development. Participants will leave with the knowledge to explain why high-quality early experiences during the first few years are so important for lifelong success.
This training is right for you if: You’re interested in learning more about the importance of the early years!
Participants will learn how to:
– Articulate the fundamentals of early childhood brain science
– Define different types of stress and their impacts on the developing brain
– Infer connections between the science of healthy early brain development and children’s everyday environment
– Share one piece of information about early childhood brain development with a friend, family member, colleague or community member
