The Putney Historical Society has developed a clean-up plan for property it owns at 15 Kimball Hill in Putney, VT also known as Next Stage. The cleanup activities are being performed in support of the renovations to Next Stage Performing Arts Center currently being undertaken by the Putney Historical Society and Next Stage Arts Project. A portion of the clean-up is being funded by the Windham Regional Commission’s Brownfields Revolving Loan Fund.
A public meeting to discuss the clean-up plan and funding will be held on Wednesday July 8, 2015 at 6:00 pm at the Putney Town Hall at 127 Main Street, Putney.
Copies of the draft clean-up plan are available for review at the Putney Town Offices and can be viewed in person there during normal operating hours. A copy of the draft clean-up plan will also be available at the meeting or by calling (802) 387-2878. Comments will be accepted on the draft clean-up plan between June 26 and July 10, 2015 and can be provided at the public meeting, via email to lyssa@lyssapapazian.com, and/or via US mail to Putney Historical Society, P.O. Box 260, Putney Vt 05346. If submitting comments by US mail, please leave enough time for normal post office delivery on or before July 10, 2015.
