November 6, 2018 General Election – Early/Absentee Voting Continues

Absentee and Early Voting began on September 21, 2018 and will continue until Monday, November 5, 2018 at 4:00PM.

Please remember that the polling place for the November 6, 2018 General Election is the Putney Central School, 182 Westminster Rd., Putney, VT 05346.  Polls will be open from 10:00AM to 7:00PM. If you are not able to vote in person on Election Day, please request an absentee ballot!

Many thanks to the 100 plus Putney residents who have already requested absentee ballots or voted early!  In the August primary, Putney residents voted at a rate well above the state-wide participation rate.  We encourage all Putney voters to exercise their Constitutional Right to cast a ballot.

To vote early or request an absentee ballot, stop in at the Town Clerk’s office during regular office hours.  You may also call, go online, or write/email the Clerk and request a ballot be sent to you. The voted ballot must be returned to the Clerk in person or by mail before the polls close at 7 P.M. on Election Day, November 6, 2018.
