As of Feb 17th, WWHT is accepting applications for the 25 brand new (currently under construction) apartments at Alice Holway Drive. Only complete applications can be processed and are first come, first serve. You can access the applications online on the listing page (linked below) along with a video tutorial walking through the application. You can find paper applications at our office 68 Birge St Brattleboro or at the Putney Town Office, Putney Cares, Putney Diner, Sweet Spot Cafe, and with the Putney Planning Commission.
What to expect:
• Income eligibility ranges are broad, don’t count yourself out! View the chart below. Eligibility goes up to 100% area median income, if your annual income falls under the 50% numbers ($36,300 for an individual in annual income), you qualify for the subsidized units. Beginning February 17th, please contact (802)254-6071 (this will be Brattleboro Housing Partnership as they administer voucher programs)
• 25 apartments all beginning leasing process. 1- and 2-bedroom apartments in two buildings. On-site laundry, community room, backyard space for outdoor gathering, walkable connection to downtown amenities, and direct access to public transportation.
• Non-subsidized units have rent set from $961-$1,539 /month
o All rents includes utilities: heat, hot water, electric, A/C
• Applications require: income verification, references, and background checks. Please watch this tutorial to make sure you’ve filled in everything necessary. Applications are processed first-come, first serve, only fully completed applications can be processed.
• Once you’re are approved and commit to moving in, we will ask for a $100 deposit within 48 hours of approval to secure your spot. This will go towards your security deposit once you move in.
• Construction is ongoing. The first building is set to complete in June, the second in July with immediate move-ins for approved applicants.
