The Putney Community Supper will be held on Friday, April 10th, from 5:30 to 7 p.m.
The Putney School is hosting this month’s supper and will be serving their Putney School Turkey Plov, a savory Uzbek rice dish containing their own turkey, local root vegetables, golden raisins, toasted almonds and savory spices. The vegetarian version, Chick Pea Plov, will also be served (the same savory dish with garbanzo beans in place of the turkey).
Also on the menu will be Chopped Spinach (with olive oil, garlic, salt and peperoncino); Tomato Basil Salad (with Backyard Farms cluster tomatoes, fresh basil and simple seasoning); whole wheat multi-grain rolls, assorted cookies; and apple juice, coffee and water.
The supper is held at NextStage Arts on Kimball Hill. Admission is by donation.
