The Putney Foodshelf is changing its phone number to 802-387-8551. This is a shared phone with the Putney Community Center where the Foodshelf is housed. You will be prompted by the message to get to our message box. We will check messages a couple of times a week and respond. For a more immediate response, e-mail Putneyfoodshelf@gmail.com.
Our old number is actually the Putney Family Services phone number. They have been kind enough to forward messages to us these past years. We are grateful for the support of our interagency partner.
For produce donations to the Foodshelf, please drop by on non-open hour times. It gets quite chaotic with 30 people waiting to shop. We need to weigh and record all donations and cannot do this when we are serving our neighbors. Tuesdays we serve our neighbors from 6–7pm and Saturdays from 9–10am. Our volunteers arrive an hour before open hour times to set up and do prep. Stop by 30–45 minutes before we open or by appointment.
