If it’s stretching your budget to put a Thanksgiving meal on the table, Putney Foodshelf can help. Sign up for a Thanksgiving Harvest Bag, which includes the makings of a full Thanksgiving meal (except the turkey). Harvest Bags include: gravy, stuffing, cornbread mix, cranberry sauce, canned corn and green beans, potatoes, squash, onions, clementines. (Items may change slightly, based on availability.)
Signups during Foodshelf Open Hours run until Tuesday, Nov 12th.
Open Hours: Tuesdays 6-7 p.m. and Saturdays 9-10 a.m. Location: Putney Community Center, back ramp entrance, 10 Christian Square.
Pickup days at the Foodshelf:
Tuesday, Nov. 19 — Open Hour 5:30-7 p.m. (Opens half hour early!)
Saturday, Nov. 23 — Open Hour 9-10 a.m.
Signups at Putney Central School for PCS families run until Friday, Nov. 8th.
Signup sheet is available at the school office and in the weekly school newsletter.
Pickup day at PCS: (Families have the option to choose to pick up at the Foodshelf.)
